RAMIN_UP is a food for special medical purposes containing branched-chain amino acids with thiamine and vitamin B6, suitable for the dietary management of patients with liver disease.

Branched-chain amino acids module in powder form with thiamine and vitamin B6, sugars and sweeteners. The product is gluten- and lactose-free

L-leucine, L-valine, L-isoleucine, acidifier: citric acid; sucrose, flavourings, stabilisers: sucrose fatty acid esters, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; powdered lemon-juice concentrate, trehalose*, sweeteners: sucralose, acesulfame K; pyridoxine chloride (vitamin B6), thiamine chloride (vitamin B1), colouring: carotene. *Trehalose is a source of glucose.

RAMIN_UP is a food for special medical purposes in powder form, suitable for the dietary management of patients with an increased need for branched-chain amino acids, such as in the case of liver disease (liver failure, cirrhosis, hepatic encephalopathy).

Dosage is according to patient and is to be defined by the practitioner on the basis of the patient’s various requirements. In general, the recommended dose is one sachet – equivalent to 5 g of branched-chain amino acids – 2-3 times a day. Consume the product immediately, or within 24 hours if the preparation is kept in the fridge.

Oral use: pour the contents of one sachet into a dry glass, add 150 ml of cold water and stir thoroughly until completely dissolved. Use with a feeding tube: Carefully dissolve the contents of one sachet in 150 ml of water at room temperature or according to the indications of the practitioner. Clean the feeding tube before and after administration with 40-50 ml of water. Do not add the product directly to the bag with other formulas for tube feeding. It is recommended to prepare the product directly when needed.

The product must be used according to instructions and under medical supervision. Not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition and must not be injected.

Keep in a cool, dry place at room temperature. The date of minimum durability refers to the product stored appropriately in an unopened package.
